As scientists we are educated and trained to create and disseminate knowledge as well as to judge the work of other scientists, all with the ultimate goal of improving the world. The climate and ecological crises affect every aspect of society and we need knowledge from all fields to stop it, therefore scientists from all fields should unite to stand up for climate justice. Even if you don’t want to or cannot engage in civil disobedience, you can still play a vital role by helping to organize, joining protests without direct action, writing letters or op-eds, or participating in book clubs or discussions where we envision sustainable and equitable futures.

Online Introduction Meeting

If you are interested in joining our movement, or just want to know more about our climate activism, join one of our online Introduction Meetings.
